Seoul is a very diverse city. A place where you can find pretty much anything that you might want, from the most traditional and decadent spots to the most modern and developed buildings filled with high-tech. If you are an avid traveler, one of those wandering souls filled with "Wanderlust" and love for culture, art, and cities with stories to tell, you might want to add Seoul to your bucket list.
Seoul might steal your heart, with its many hidden special areas. Ewha Womans University, is one of them. This beloved location among young females holds one of the most important women universities in the country. Ewha Womans University or 이대 as named in Korean is a location full of surprises yet to be explored.
Ewha is a place filled with expectation and desire for change, holding almost a sense of rebellion in a country in which traditional values are still part of the daily norm. There is still a prevalent mindset and tradition that is kept in Korean society, but both campus and city, hide small traces of transition and novelty for those who know how and where to look.
Seoul is slowly transforming and at Ewha, the future and name of this revolution is female. A spot in which thoughts of change and rebellion comes directly from young women. Ewha is not only a beautiful spot to see and experience but also a good spot to shop at great prices, eat delicious food and discover adorable small boutiques, bookstores, and cafes. The ideal place to enjoy with friends and take beautiful seasonal pictures around the exceptionally pretty campus. If you have not visited Ewha yet, I recommend you to go have a look around.
I will finish up today with one of my favorite quotes that I find quite represents the feelings I get every time I explore around this beautiful area:
"Life shrinks or expands in proportion with one’s courage” – Anaïs Nin
So no matter if you are male, female, younger or more mature, always remember to expand your courage and wings as broad as you can.
